Peerless SNC Series automatic bandsaw machines are designed to provide superior performance in the most demanding production environments and available in either a hinged type or double column type. These machines produce fast accurate cuts, easy to setup, simple to operate and boast an array of features that are not available on competitive machines.

These rigid Peerless models are loaded with features. There is hydraulic band tension as a standard feature to assure proper and constant band tension for straight cuts and longer blade life. Infinitely variable blade speed allows tremendous flexibility with materials to be cut. A split front vise holds the material on both sides of the blade to reduce cut-off burr.

The rapid approach arm speeds the blade into the cut and then automatically adjusts the saw to the preset cutting rate. The saws have automatic material height detection to eliminate operator error during setup.

The controls are safely and conveniently located in an operator’s console. The operation is controlled by a sophisticated NC programmable control which allows you to program up to 20 different lines. Simply enter the number of pieces to cut and the length of those pieces and go. The controller figures out how many shuttles will be needed and automatically compensates for kerf loss. The electrical compartment has a disconnect so that power is automatically shut off if the compartment door is opened.

The Peerless Model HB-10A

The Peerless model HB-10A is a rigid and yet economically priced workhorse. The HB-10A is a band saw with automatic material feed accomplished via three power drive "pinch" rollers. Feed lengths are determined by setting an adjustable stop and micro-switch mechanism at the desired length within the 0" to 24" range.

The HB-10As frame is constructed from cast iron, this prevents the saw frame from deflecting once band tension is applied. heavy-duty cast iron construction of the vise jaws, vise base, guiarms and pivot point reduces vibration and insures cut accuracy.
