Champ-13 Horizontal Band Saws
The Champ-13 horizontal band saws from Peerless are large capacity heavy duty machines designed for non-production shops. Champ-13SII horizontal band saws are manual machines. Champ-13SAII horizontal band saws are the semi-automatic version. Made of Heavy Cast Iron to assure perpendicularity, parallelism and stability, both horizontal band saws have a saw bow which swivels to allow 60 degree miter cuts without moving the material. Ideal for small structural steel fabricators, these horizontal band saws are built to hold up to the toughest requirements of the fabricating industry where cutting accuracy, economy, versatility and reliability are important considerations.
The controls on these horizontal band saws are safely and conveniently located in an operator’s console. It holds, in addition to the electrical switches, the hydraulic feed control. This valve enables the operator to easily adjust down pressure of the saw bow, which allows for more accurate cuts and longer blade life.
The cam lock vise can be moved quickly to adjust to varying sizes of material. The lever can be locked from either side of the machine.
